Two weeks ago we made an announcement that the new site design was well underway, and that the launch of this new design would be, erm, today. Unfortunately, there were some unforeseen obstacles and the new design isn’t quite ready yet, so if you all would have a little bit of patience we’ll be working to get it up as soon as possible. Sorry for the confusion!

It’s probably become pretty apparent to you all that the MythicNation site has been pretty, well, stagnant. This is just a quick update to let you all know that a big update is in the works, and in (hopefully) two weeks we will be transitioning away from WordPress to a full-blown custom-built site. There’s a whole slew of features planned to be integrated directly into the new site, but I certainly can’t figure it ALL out on my own! So I need you all to go to our Feedback forum and let me know what kinds of features you’d like to see in the new site, and I’ll do my best to fit in as many of them as I am able.

The time has come to return to our roots and take on the game that started it all on the most difficult settings! The question is, who will be the first to find and unlock all the skulls? The first to beat the game LASO? The first to beat the game on Legendary with all detrimental skulls (LADSO)? The challenges have been set before us, and we all know how we respond to challenge! A small update, we have the beginnings of our “internet footprint” up! Check out the “Sphere of Influence” page for links to Tyrant’s Mythic guides and the Mythic threads/group on Bungie.net! Our hosting service has informed me that this Wednesday, our site will be unavailable for 1-2 hours as they upgrade their hardware. The site will be down starting at about 11PM MDT.
I would also like to apologize for the slow updates. Due to a number of new projects in the real world (both professionally and personally) my time has been more limited lately. To remedy this, I’m looking to appoint a new admin to expand on this site. If you have experience working with the wordpress framework and architecture, and would like to contribute to this site’s evolution, please post in the “Admins Wanted” thread in our Planned Updates forum.

MATCLAN made a great suggestion that we incorporate a chatbox so that users can communicate in (semi-)realtime. So, if you’re signed in you can talk in the chat box on the right-hand side of the page. Visit Matclan’s post in the feedback forums for suggestions regarding the chatbox. Also, please post your opinion there regarding the chatbox location!
